Here I share 3 online brands that have fantastic eco credentials and beautifully designed gift wrapping paper that you’ll want to start using now.
VIDA Natural
I ordered packs with 2 different designs of gift wrapping paper (each pack also included 2 matching gift tags per sheet). The sheets came folded in a compostable & biodegradable see through bag.
Printed using vegetable inks this paper is 100% recycled & recyclable and all printed in the UK.
I loved the heavy feel of this paper, excellent for creating sharp creases for a professional finish to a gift.
Disappointingly, there are no grid lines on the back of each sheet, not essential but something I find very helpful. The sheets arrive folded, which can mean a crease across the front/back of your gift. I suggest hiding the crease with a well positioned bow or decoration.
Overall I loved this paper and will definitely be buying again.

Re-Wrapped
This well established brand prides itself on its UK made, 100% recycled unbleached paper. The designs are created on the paper using vegetable inks.
I ordered the Polka Dot Bundle – 6 sheets of gift wrapping paper plus tags in 3 different colours.
This paper has a lighter feel which you may find easier to work with (but it is by no means thin). The gift wrapping paper arrived folded in a biodegradable & compostable clear bag. As with the previous brand, because the paper is folded you will need to use ribbon to hide the crease.
And similarly there is no cutting grid on the reverse.
I love the fabulous selection of designs available (which includes Christmas designs).

Curlicue
I bought this pretty spring daffodil design which is very eye-catching. The 100% recycled, uncoated paper is printed using vegetable inks and is completely recyclable.
Delivered rolled (to avoid the creases that I have mentioned previously, the packaging is also recyclable.
What gives this brand top marks from me is not only the option to have the paper delivered rolled but also the cutting grid on the reverse.
