Who are the gift wrapping classes aimed at?
The classes are for you if you are a complete beginner. You will learn the skills to transform your gift wrapping. And, if you have a little more experience, the class is a perfect way to refresh your skills and learn new techniques
What do I need to do before the class?
If you haven’t purchased a gift wrapping kit you will need to collect together items to be used during the class. A full list will be provided ahead of the class and will be available to download from the website.
Do I need any special gift wrap, ribbon or tape, if I decide not to buy the kit ?
No you don’t need to have anything special, whatever yo have in the house even if it is Christmas is absolutely fine. The important thing is to learn the technique so that you are ready for all gift wrapping occasions
I hear gift wrappers use double sided tape – where can I buy it?
Ordinary tape is fine to use if you can’t find any double sided. Many retailers do stock it now and you can buy it from my website too
I’ve not used Zoom before, what do I do?
Zoom is a video conferencing tool. If you haven’t used it before, please do download it or the app to your computer or smartphone ahead of the class starting. Zoom is simple to use but in the unlikely event you run into an issue, I’m sure you’d rather have time to sort this prior to the class starting. What if I can’t make the live class on the day?
If on the day you find you can no longer attend, you can reschedule, once for another date, at no extra cost
Will there be a recording?
Tech permitting, there will be a recording of the class sent out to you within 48 hours
Will other class attendees be able to see me?
You can choose not to have your video on so that you can see me, but other class attendees can’t see you.
Is there a break during the class?
Yes, during the 90 minute class we will take a 10 – 15 minute break
What if I am too slow during the class?
Don’t worry, if you are struggling with a technique, you can pop into one of the breakout rooms and I can go through it with you
What do I do if I have a question?
There is a chat box available on Zoom where you can add a question which I can answer during the class or at the end in the Q&A. You will all be muted on entry to the class but you can unmute yourself if you have question.
