If you love gift wrapping, you’ll know that finding good quality gift wrapping paper can be a struggle. Here are my 7 favourite gift wrapping paper brands from small & independent businesses that you are going to love using.
All time favourites
My all time favourite designs are by Jane Means. Designed by Jane herself, the designs are simple & attractive and suitable for occasions throughout the year. The reversible designs make the paper super versatile giving you the option to create alternative looks. The gift wrapping paper is printed in the UK using vegetable inks – great if you are looking for a sustainable option
A designer I have discovered recently is Kay Minter. Kay is a floral artist and photographer and she has just launched a new range of beautiful floral gift wrapping paper. At the time of writing, 2 designs are available & they are absolutely stunning. I have been lucky enough to use the paper and love it.
Sustainable gift wrapping brands
Curlicue popped up on my Instagram feed a couple of years ago at Christmas and I was smitten. The ethos of this small business is its eco-friendly credentials. Curlicue designs are not only beautiful, but the paper is 100% recycled & recyclable. All printed in the UK using vegetable based inks. I used one of their festive designs with attendees at a Christmas Workshop and they loved it too.
I came across Re-Wrapped for the first time in 2019 in an article about recyclable gift wrapping paper. This London based company uses only vegetable based inks and 100% recycled materials to produce its cards, git wrap & notebooks. They have a wide selection of designs for every occasion.
Little Green Wrapping has a small range of beautiful papers sold in packs. You get a selection of sheets and tags, delivered in plastic free packaging. The papers are all 100% recycled and recyclable. Plus, and this is a big deal for me, the wrapping paper has a grid printed on the reverse.
For personalised paper
For a personalised gift wrap, Pretty Gifted is the best I have come across. With different colour options for the wrap, the ability to chose an icon & different fonts available plus 60 characters of space to add your message the hardest part is choosing what to write!
And if you love bold
If bold designs are your thing, visit the Eleanor Bowmer website. My favourite is definitely the pink leopard print. There is a great selection to choose from for all occasions throughout the year.
